Resonant Signal Generation
Resonant signals are part
of nature. The negative ions near waterfalls can promote an
electromagnetic (EM) field that produces relaxation therapy.
Negative ion generators are manufactured for use in the home.
TENS and piezoelectric devices are common medical devices.
The TENS devices transmit an electric pulse that produces
an electric field in the tissues to stimulate nerves and muscles;
the piezoelectric devices generate an electric field that
helps align bone tissue so it can heal faster. Most resonant
devices transmit a resonant signal at a specific frequency
and amplitude. Another resonant signal device found mainly
outside the US is called Radionics, which uses a series of
numbers on cards that are set in a transmitter device. A popular
resonant method used in the US is Applied Kinesiology, where
the operator completes different circuits using the operator's
body and the client's body. However, the most common type
of resonant signal generator, the home stereo, can transmit
a wide range of frequencies at a reasonable range of amplitudes.
